Which free SEO tools are the most suitable for you? Unfortunately nobody will be able to give you a straight answer to that question, it will in fact all depend on your specific cases, type of project, way of work and off course the budget you want to invest.
There are hundreds of excellent services and applications you can use, and of course I have not tried them all, but I did try a good number of them. I will in this article try to save you both time and money explaining which application I use and why recommend some of them.
In this selection you find both paid and free SEO tools, although the latter usually offer free limited demo or trial.
I’ve included many free or inexpensive tools that I use and that I find interesting, but it is impossible to avoid mentioning some paid tools due to their powerful functionalities.

These tools deserve a special section, as they perform multiple tasks effectively and are in themselves an arsenal that will help you speed up your positioning with quality results.

One of the more popular link research tools, Ahrefs offers a large index and nice anchor text distribution charts. Mostly a paid tool, but they offer some free data.
